Final Season

Big news in the Transformers Universe today. IGN reports that Transformers: Prime is headed for it’s final season.  Season 3 will be the last. Season 3 is titled “Beast Hunters” – just in case you wondered.   Season 3 will air 13 episodes, bringing the total to 65.  Only G1 of the original Transformers cartoon ran more episodes (98). Season 3 starts on March 22nd.   This truly is a sad day.  Transformers:Prime was an excellent series with terrific animation and great character driven plots.

NO! I hope this doesn’t have anything to do with TFP being aired on both the Hub and the CW.  I was enjoying this season.  The previous season ended with a HUGE cliff hanger that would take 2 seasons to recover from and they are going to do it in 13 episodes? ~sigh~
