Peter Cullen Hopes Michael Bay Returns for TF5

Los Angeles Premiere of 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen'

Transformers 5 news has brought some excitement to the air after it was announced that Michael Bay and Mark Whalberg would not be returning to the franchise for the next installment.

Peter Cullen had the following to say about Michael Bay:

“I have a great deal of respect for him,” Cullen said. “He generates a great deal of excitement and energy. He’s really a hands-on director. My son is a stunt man and worked in Chicago doing a lot of the driving sequences…he said he’s a very, very diligent, hands-on guy. He creates a great deal of energy and puts everybody on their toes. I would certainly miss him. I think he’s brilliant, his mind is unbelievable.”

I think it’s a given that Peter Cullen is the face of the Transformers franchise (or should I say voice).  The 4 films to date have been some of the biggest box office movies of all time.

Speculations on the plot of the next movie?  We now know the Dinobots have been introduced. Galvatron is now in the mix, who by the way is voiced by Frank Welker (kinda awesome hearing the original Megatron voice opposite Optimus Prime).

Could Unicron, The Qunitessons, The Sharkticons, etc be featured in the next movie?  Prime talked about the creators leaving Earth alone… time will tell!
